How It Works

Does Catch offer testing or screening?

Catch provides a personalized testing plan with recommendations based on your unique risk profile. We do not at this time offer access to any testing directly. Testing recommendations should be discussed with your healthcare provider.

No prescription is required to use Catch. You can access all our insights and recommendations without needing to visit a doctor for a prescription.

Does Catch diagnose?

Catch does not diagnose medical conditions. We offer insights to help you better understand your health and potential risks, but diagnosis and treatment should always be handled by your healthcare provider.

Does a doctor review my information?

At Catch we’ve built the world’s most powerful consumer-facing meta-model for cancer risk, capable of calculating any individual's lifetime risk for cancer and generating an optimal action plan to reduce it. Our model is based on the latest science, but individual user information is not reviewed by a medical professional. It’s important to consult with your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Can I see a doctor through Catch?

Catch doesn’t offer direct access to doctors. Our platform is here to support you with information and guidance that you may wish to discuss with your healthcare provider.

Is insurance involved?

No, insurance isn't involved. Catch is designed to provide personalized insights without needing to go through your insurance provider. We charge a transparent annual membership fee, so you know exactly what you’re paying.

Can I see my risk change over time?

Catch tracks your Action Plan completion so you can see how changes you’re making impact your risk over time.

How is my annual Testing Plan determined?

Because our mission at Catch is to radically reduce cancer risk, we recommend personalized annual screening protocols that are often more aggressive than the status quo. We provide detailed explanations of each screening recommendation, including the benefits, potential risks, and financial implications.

How much can I reduce my cancer risk if I follow my Action Plan?

Individual risk reduction will vary, but the majority of Catch members will be able to substantially reduce their risk within the first year of the program. You can see the impact of each recommendation on your personal risk in the Risk Analysis section of your profile.

What cancers are included in my risk assessment?

Catch assesses your risk for the 21 most common cancers, which account for 91% of cancer incidence and 85% of deaths1 from cancer:Colorectal cancerLung cancerBreast cancerProstate cancerUterine cancerMelanomaBladder cancerLymphomaKidney cancerLeukemiaThyroid cancerPancreatic cancerOral cavity cancerOvarian cancerLiver cancerCervical cancerMyelomaBrain cancerStomach cancerTesticular cancerEsophageal cancer

What do you mean by “lifetime risk” for cancer?

According to the American Cancer Society, nearly half of Americans will develop Cancer in their lifetime and approximately 1 in 6 will die from it1. However, what most people don’t know is that they can meaningfully reduce that risk through proactive screening and targeted lifestyle changes. Catch’s proprietary AI-powered risk model evaluates your risk factors across 21 cancers to calculate your lifetime risk of developing any type of cancer. This lifetime risk is then broken down into individual risk for each cancer type. Your lifetime risk will change as you take action against your Action Plan and your overall health evolves.

What type of recommendations are included in my Action Plan?

Your Action Plan will include targeted recommendations across environmental, diet, and lifestyle interventions. These recommendations are personalized to be the most impactful and achievable for reducing your lifetime cancer risk. You select the actions to prioritize first.

What types of risk factors are included in my Risk Analysis?

Your lifetime cancer risk is calculated based on hundreds of unique factors that have been clinically proven to impact your risk of developing one or more cancers. This includes factors such as your medical history, diet and lifestyle choices, occupational risks, and genetics and biomarkers.

Who is Catch for?

Catch is for anyone over 18 years old interested in getting a comprehensive view of their cancer risk and how to significantly reduce it. Catch maps your risk factors for every major cancer and builds a personalized action plan to minimize your risk.

What is included in my Catch membership?

Your Catch membership begins with a comprehensive risk assessment to understand your baseline across hundreds of lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors.  Based on your risk assessment, you’ll receive a personalized risk score that measures your lifetime risk for cancer, as well as a comprehensive risk map that highlights your unique risk across hundreds of factors.  From there, you’ll build a customized Action Plan with tailored interventions designed to reduce your risk.  You’ll also receive an annual testing plan tailored to your unique risk profile, risk tolerance, and budget.  As a Catch member you’ll receive access to the latest research and insights on emerging science.  In addition, your Catch membership will sponsor a free membership for someone in need.

Using Catch

How can I show that I’ve taken action in my Action Plan?

To mark an action as completed, simply click on the Action Plan section of your dashboard, and click “Mark as Completed.” You will be prompted to update your risk assessment with your new information, and you may select additional items for your Action Plan at that time.

Something I would have expected seems missing from my Risk Analysis. Why isn’t it included?

Catch focuses on risk factors with the strongest scientific evidence and relevance to your personal risk profile. If a certain factor isn’t included, it may be because current research doesn’t show a clear link for your specific situation. Our model is designed to account for collinearity among many potential factors, helping to avoid including overlapping or redundant risk indicators. We continuously update our data, so as new research emerges, our recommendations will evolve. It’s always a good idea to discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider
